I’ve decided to create a fully-new history for the current website. I hope to re-frame the recent narrative to be clear and factual. I want to provide as much context and framework for his life and work as possible. Certainly, his created celebrity image is a significant reason that we know him, but it cannot be separated from this musician’s incredible talents – this is largely where he still matters most.

On screen or stage, just as a musician/performer – he is one of the greatest, truly an icon. His full true “story” remains to be known because we have only fragments of it available; so the mystery remains, and I think that’s cool. What pieces we know is written here, but there are so many years of his life and situation that may remain shrouded in mystery.

His story will grow and change as we learn more and add it here, so this may provide the most-complete and detailed arc of his life as we know it. This type of evolving story is ideal in a website, as it can be updated or corrected as-needed.  

And so – PLEASE feel free to send us your memories or experiences, or any dates of his concerts or events. This community of KP fans will certainly help the story grow and become more accurate. And there will be more live lectures and updates to this website as we move forward. Thanks to all who contribute.
